With the Race to Certification coming to a close and my standing in the Leader board continuing to drop all the way down to #384 last week, decided to take one more exam before the end of the Race on October 31st.
Took the MySQL HeatWave Implementation Certified Associate Rel 1 Certification on the 31st. It was an associate exam so it is a bit easier than the professional exam. Took until today 2025-11-03 until the results were posted, which is more than usual. Figure that is just due to the number of people taking exams before the end of the race.
Got a 72% on the exam needed a 60%. Decided to take the test early last week so not as much time to study as I would have preferred. Hope whatever credit I get for the certification will be enough to keep me in the top 500 when the final rankings are tallied. Sounds like a lot of people had trouble taking exams the last couple of days in the Race due to demand, so not sure when I'll get the final results.
The 2025 Race to Certification was a lot of fun and a lot of work. Bit nervous if I'll make it into the top 500 when everything is tallied, but I gave it a good try.
