Finished the Oracle Race to Certification 2025 in the Top 500
The Oracle Race to Certification has released their standings. Oracle said over 1,000,000 people participated in the Race this year.
Looks like passing the MySQL HeatWave Implementation Certified Associate Rel 1 Certification exam was worthwhile.
I am #305 in the top 500 leaderboard leaderboard right now. Not sure if this will be my final standing. According to Oracle I finished in the top #500 and that is good enough.
Knowing a bit more about the exam scoring think I would have done the certifications earlier in the cycle so I could have gotten a higher ranking.
What do you get for this accomplishment?

And of course I picked up a bunch of Oracle certifications along the way.
The 2025 Race to Certification was fun and a lot of work. Glad to make it into the top #500 and I'll probably give it a shot if they do it again in 2026.
