Renewed my Microsoft Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) certification tonight. I ended up taking the renewal exam twice. Didn't study or prepare the first time I did a speed run and the results were not great. Did a bit of review and passed on the second attempt. I tend to like not prepping the first time as it gives me a good chance to see what has changed since last time.
Quite a bit of CosmosDB on the renewal which something I had to do a bit of review on. Handily passed the second time. Once nice thing about Microsoft's renewal exams is they tell you the sections you did poorly on, so you know where to review.
As always very glad that Microsoft does free renewals. Would be nice if other groups did this as well.
So my AZ-204 certification is extended until November 2027 now. My Microsoft AZ-204 Certification page is already updated with the new expiration date.
