Had a bit of free time this week so hunkered down and did some studying for the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Architect Associate (2026) exam exam. Sat for the exam Friday after work. I passed with 78%. The minimum was 68% so a bit of a buffer there. I was going between 4 or 5 questions and flipping answers so glad I quit while I was ahead :-)
I had taken the 2023 DevOps Oracle certification, 3 years ago. Interesting to see how much this has changed over the last couple of years. Lot more Kubernetes/Terraform on this version than what I remembered a few years ago also quite a bit about the Oracle Application Dependency and Resource Managers. Oracle is doing some cool stuff with DevOps.
Sat for the following Exam
Still have a Certifications voucher from the 2025 Oracle Race to Certification that I need to use before the end of October. Planning on sitting for the Agentic AI for Oracle AI Database Professional in the next couple of weeks. This is pretty much a new exam, including their old Generative AI exam and some other AI developments. So studying for it is going to take a bit of time.
